Isla De Lobos

De Martino

Reserva Legado Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Fruit-driven Cab from 20-25 years old vines in Isla de Maipo, just south of Santiago. Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Quite jammy nose with aromas of dark fruit (blackberry, cassis, blackberry gummies), red fruit (strawberry, strawberry jam) and hints of bell pepper and tobacco. Medium-bodied, ripe fruit flavors. Very fresh on the palate. Long, spicy finish — 9 months ago
