Delicious skin contact Gamay/Pinot blend; light, dry, fruit heavy - cherry, strawberry and other red fruits. Light florals as well, great balance, smooth finish. — 4 days ago
This was delicious, and a winning blind for me. Having a baseline on the table definitely helped. Although less sweet and intense, I felt the JM Millot was in the same genre as the Métras, with similar texture, floral lift, minerality, and red fruit profile. It was the difference in fruit sweetness that gave it away as being from greater Burgundy, whereby Pinot Noir usually appears less sweet than Gamay to me. The village was definitely a lot harder to identify which made sense upon the reveal - when in doubt, it’s probably from one of the lesser communes (or Morey lol!). Fine, fresh, and energetic, I would have drank a lot more of it if not for the other wines on the table. Another to revisit. — 19 days ago
Pinot Noir blend of fruit from eight different Willamette vineyards. Beautiful organic-based nose of mushroom, tobacco, lavender and freshly turned wet soil. Just a bit of dark cherry. The pallet is light with black cherry, cranberry and black raspberry fruit with some notes of cola and spice. Light color and body. Elegant. Excellent QPR for a Willamette Pinot. Thank you for sharing, Kase! — 19 days ago
Over the weekend we opened the 2018 David Paige Wines Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. From Carlton, Oregon and a blend of grapes from Chehalem Mountains, Ribbon Ridge and Eola-Amity Hills.
On the nose there was strawberry, cranberry, cherry, clove, mushroom, hibiscus, vanilla and earth.
On the palate there is tart cherry, raspberry, cranberry, clove, mushroom, vanilla and earth.
This is a medium bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that moves easily into a long red fruit earthy finish. A very nice expression of Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley. Have a wonderful week ahead and my it be positive and productive. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 17 days ago
@Willie Carter ‘s review sums up this wine well. Brut nature. Gorgeous amber, natty in the best way. Complex and fascinating. — 4 days ago

Pinot-Noir (66%) and gamay (34%) blend, both gourmet and sophisticated. The nose, marked by aging, evokes Burgundy by its toasted-cherry-vertical side, while the gamay would recall Beaujolais on strawberry-vegetable, jovial, floral and peppery notes. It's accessible, crunchy, with chew (not or little filtered) it pinote on a wide arotic range. The approach of a real friendly wine, with a solid final.
— 6 days ago
