Greystone

Thomas Brothers' Pinot Noir

Very similar to the Forager - which makes sense given same winemaker and natural ferment. Really racy and full of life. Tight at first but opened up beautifully to show round, spicy fruit with some salinity, forest, and floral notes. Good grip giving long finish. Age worthy. — 3 years ago

After a great day of white water rafting in Golden BC this lager was a blessed treat! Too bad I can't find this one here at home. — 4 years ago

The Forager

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Complex Willamette PN. Great blend of Old World and New. Plenty of earthy/mushroom forest floor that gives depth and heft, but it’s balanced by bright cherry and cola notes. Some vanilla sweetness in there too. Excellent with pan fried salmon and wild rice. This one will be worth revisiting. — 3 months ago

Cabernet sauvignon Napa Valley 2014

Damn fine California Cab, and a deal at $36 in the restaurant. Classic cab body, super drinkable start, with an evolving finish that has hints if blackberry and... vanilla? Wonderful. — 3 years ago
