Medium deep ruby , quite narrow ruby rim . Quite juicy blackberry and blackcurrant , touch spicy oak , quite generous. On the palate more of the ripe dark fruits , touch of dark chocolate. Touch of warmth from the alcohol but balanced acidity . Rounded but present tannins , ok length . Quite enjoyable and fruit forward Margaux , slightly one dimensional but quite fun to drink now and over the next 5 to 10 years . — 7 months ago

Elegant Riesling from Bollenberg. Quite ripe on the nose — 2 years ago
From a 375ml.
PnP a bit tight, but luxurious dark fruits,
tannins prevalent but chewy.
Lots of Blue/Black fruit and muddy gravel. Loamy, calls for protein.
Some comments said this was drying. I get that, but not to the point of being unpleasant. Chasing LdH ‘04 is a tough act to follow. This previously garage wine 90-10 Merlot/Cab Franc definitely treads the blacker, more treacly edge.
Not heavy, but black. — 2 months ago
A juicy, aromatic Sauvignon without the over-the-top exotic fruit and with nice minerality.
Expressive nose with grassy aromas, some nettle, green apples, shy peach & gooseberry, with a rocky mineral edge underneath.
On the palate this has a nice rounded mouthfeel with juicy acidity and a herby, mineral finish. This has nice depth, brilliant balance and a very nice character. — 6 months ago
Let’s qualify this statement by saying that I’m not a wine connoisseur. That said, I really enjoyed this wine. Not overly sweet and smooth.. — a year ago
