Smoky. Good acid — 6 months ago
Star bright pale yellow with green highlights. Inviting nose and medium palate of green apple, honeysuckle petal, and a hint of balsam on the finish and light vanilla overlay. Firm medium plus acidity from entry to finish makes for an excellent meal accompaniment in the style of Côte Chalonnais white, which makes sense as winemaker Laurent Montelieu is originally from Burgundy. Heck of a price for an actual Burgundian style, too. Enjoy with lemon-garlic Pacific salmon, roasted or fried chicken, scallops, or a wide range of “white wine” fare. Drink now through 2026. — 6 months ago
What My Tastebuds Like
It’s tasty. If you like Pinot Noir you should like this because it’s very easy on the buds. If you like Pinot Noir and don’t like this, then I don’t understand you, and I just don’t think you’ll understand me 😛 — 3 months ago
