Nose is inky blackberry.
Palate is so intense. Blackberry. Huge fruit density. Almost chewy. Delicious. Some spice. As it opens elegant integrated pencil shavings. Savory in an elegant way.
Extremely distinctive. — 3 days ago
Bordeaux Blend of (Organically Grown) Merlot (85%), Malbec (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). Dark ruby color. Aromas and flavors of black currant, plums, coffee and dark chocolate. Medium bodied with chewy tannins. Noticeable acidity. Very easy drinker. — 7 months ago
Yum. On the nose: black pepper, raspberry coulis, spft leather, gamey olive. On the palate: excellent acidity, still, olive brine, pickled onion, beef jerky, dried black raspberry. This is exactly what old syrah is supposed to be about. Still lovely. — 2 years ago
Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and sweet floral notes, a blend from four different vineyard parcels in Chichee. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and lemon citrus with notes of honey and floral. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity and ends with mineral character. Consistent. — 2 months ago
It can be difficult for me to identify the flavors in wine, but the pinot noir in this wine expressed beautiful fruit on the nose and palate, but slightly higher acidity which (to me) clashed ever so slightly with the taste. Don't mistake me though, this wine is excellent and is very well done — a year ago
Rich dark fruits. Dried violet on the nose. Saddle leather, wet earth. Lacks a bit of acidity. — 3 months ago

A brilliant vintage for this wine. A top 5 Crozes. Easy. Spice, game, some funk, blueberry, black berry, black cherry, huge granite and even some wilted flowers. Young but tasty palate of dazzling granite and velvety tannins and engaging energy from the minerality. Terrific power, depth and concentration. Needs 5 years. So long and such beautifully defined fruit on the incredibly long finish. Really rich and dark. Awesome. Wait 5 years. As this opens the balance becomes superb. Almost a 9.4. I’ll be back. — 2 years ago
