Very nice Champagne with fruity complexity — 3 months ago
Beautiful Burgundy from the Lavieres Premier Cru in Savigny-les-Beaune, a south-facing vineyard planted in 1954 on predominantly limestone soils. Named after the flat limestone slabs – “laves” that used to cover the roofs in the past). Farmed biodynamically. Whole-cluster fermentation. Aged in mostly used oak barrels. Floral, perfumed. Aromas of red berries, peonies and orange rind. Medium bodied, delicate, lively on the palate. Bright red fruit, white pepper notes, good acidity — 4 months ago
