Calistoga day and we visited Schramsberg. We went there for the bubbles so this extra tasting was a real treat. Schramsberg was my second favorite tasting experience of the trip. This wine was huge, powerful, elegant, and needs about 10 to 15 years to truly evolve. Definitely was a wow wine, but not sure the value is there for the price. — 3 months ago
Medium Ruby color; lovely aromas of violet, dried rose petal, dried orange peel, cranberry, raspberry, wild strawberry, forest floor, sour cherry, black cherry and a hint of espresso. There is a lot going on in this wine and while it is beguiling now it will be even better in a year or two. A terrific effort. — 2 months ago

Really good Pinot. Slightly dry. — a month ago
18 Davies Renteria single vineyard was solid. Probably opened too early, but a beautiful nose of cherry cola, vanilla and a bit of black tea. Not as much depth on the palate, but it’s warming up and the finish is growing in the second glass. Been consistently impressed with Davies. — 2 months ago
