Great medium to full bodied. Berry forward with a velvety finish. Drank at Arezzo — 3 years ago
Tried again! In the heart of the Chianti lies Estate of Sette Ponti, 15 miles northwest of the city of Arezzo, past village of San Giustino Valdarno. Has 10% Merlot, aged in French Allier barriques, deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with blossom notes, spice and fine integrated tannins. Good balance, long finish ending with some oak and mineral tones. Nice! Will age a bit! Tasting well now! — 2 months ago
Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to the 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Went to a tasting, had ‘14 & ‘15 side by side. Very dark enticing red with concentrated aromas of dark fruits & earthy notes. Flavors of cherry & plum with tobacco and spice. Firm but approachable tannins, medium length ending with a bit of spice as the finish builds. Best to drink ‘14 now. Tasting Sample. — 4 years ago

Champagne is for celebrating! Today, 12 years ago, I married my love & best friend in Cortona, Italy...in the heart of Tuscany. The day still lingers like it was yesterday. It was a spectacular day that I will never forget. Such memories!!!
So, to my wife Sofia, cheers!🍾🥂. I love you today more than ever.
All my previous notes apply. 9.4 on the Champange, a 10 on my partner choice and our day twelve years ago.
Photos of; the Piazza of the La Repubblica...the building we were married, us leaving for our reception and one of the better meals of our life, walking through town on the way to our reception and our wedding ceremony. — 3 years ago

Probably opened this Brunello 2010 vintage late but after resting open for an hour in the bottle and into the glass for moments only, the wine softened to a velvety, exquisite smoothness on the palate with a perfect balance…just the right amount of tannins and acidity. Close to spectacular…elegantly drinkable, nothing quite comparable to the full-flavored yet medium bodied Brunello. Other reviewers have more impressionable palates but no single distinct flavor impressions for me other than the deep red berry. No nut nor earthiness yada yada (how does anyone taste a nut, tree bark or dirt in fine wine?). Etc. etc…simply a full flavor but not “big” for the sake of it. An exquisite wine…a rare accomplishment. Purchased in Cortona, Italy. — 5 days ago
