N: Lots of tar and cured leather on the nose, a bit of mint. Balsamic dipped strawberries, gravel, lots of interesting aromas coming up.like when you sit on an old, dusty, cracked red leather couch.
P: At first crack, all leather and tar with grippy tannins, as it airs, some dark cherries and loam, lots of crisp but assertive fruits, dark berries. Shines w protein. A great treat from Alto-Piedmonte. 12.5° 70% Nebbiolo, 15% each Vespolina and Croatina.Well done!

Sour cherries (some dried), lots of black licorice, red plums, and tobacco. Sun dried tomato paste and dried medicinal herbs and woodsy spices hit on the finish. Tannins grub, but smooth out with air. Very bright, but a touch hot.
Worked well with gnocchi with a pork and tomato sauce.

Reminds me of a cross between a white Burgundy and an Albarino, with aromas teetering toward a Chilean Chardonnay. Notes of ripe pineapple, citrus, hay, almond butter, and minerals. Beautiful, unsung wine deserving more attention. — a month ago
Very true nose, enlightened and elegant, tastes slightly on the modern side but retains authenticity and individuality. — 2 years ago

Some pine. Floral. Lovely.
Palate is a bit tannic. Lovely cherry fruit. Juicy. As it opens a hint of balsamic. Not a good sign.
As it airs tanins become more pronounced. Which is odd. Still a fun drink.
This may be mildly corked. God hates us all. My guess in 5 years will be very good. Or not.
