Hop overload compete with citrus notes. Refreshing. I prefer beers that lean a little harder towards fruit notes. Still good. — 16 days ago

Los Carneros Pinot Noir 2018

A kind of smokey, spicy cherry flavor. Dry to begin with, smooth finish. Easy to drink alone or with a meal. — 3 days ago

Los Carneros Chardonnay 2015

One of my favorite Chardonnays. Easy to drink, flavorful without being oppressively oaky or buttery. — 4 months ago

Rogue Vine

Super Itata Los Amigos Carignan Blend

Best bottle of wine I’ve had in recent memory. Only wine drinkers know what we mean by “brambly” fruit - this is that turned up to 11. Fresh herbs, potpourri, cotton candy, hair spray (in the best way), fresh manure, potting soil. Dense and feather light. Uniquely delicious. — a month ago

Ver Sacrum

Los Chacayes Mendoza Garnacha

Dark, red cherry in the nose with rose pedal and leather tones. Dark cherry flavors with strawberry, leather and cooking spice. Bright acidity and lingering finish — 5 days ago

Los Alamos Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

A big, big fan of Varner and their Foxglove, the best QPR 2nd label in Cali, with Talley’s Bishop’s Peak a close second. Varner’s entry-level Los Alamos pinot is a super fresh, light-bodied style with ample fruit, depth, and acidity. For $20 it’s SOLID. Varner’s higher end chard/pinot are superb. Seek out the entire range. Foxglove truly rocks as well. — 6 days ago

Los Pilares

La Dona's Sparkling Muscat 2017

It’s not a beer, and it’s not a champagne, and it’s not a cider, and it’s not wine, it’s all of them. So good. — 11 days ago
