Dao, Portugal. It takes a while to open up but when it does it is all mature fruit and concentration. — 6 years ago
Deep full dark fruits with soft tannins and a floral note on the finish. — a year ago
An oak and leather. Then some dark fruit. It's easy to find very good Portuguese wine in Poland or anywhere. — 2 years ago
Delicious. Had with black pasta and paella. Reminded me of dinners in Barcelona — 5 years ago
Bright crimson in colour. Notes of Camphor and Sandalwood together with tarry red and black fruits. A rich flavoursome and savoury palate - medium to full bodied - a fleeting tobacco note. Firm yet silky tannins. Very polished. One of the best Tempranillos (actually 86% Tempranillo and 14% Garnacha) I’ve ever had - up there with Vega Sicilia. Shows the versatility of the Tempranillo grape and its suitability to the warm climes of Spain. One of the 1001 Wines. 98 points from Jay Miller of the Wine Advocate. — a year ago
