Apple, lemon, dried apricot, honeydew melon and slate. Racy acidity and great minerality. — 2 months ago
Really a delicious brunello. Surprisingly ready to go - opened several hours prior but didn’t decant. Great black fruit, excellent balance, very good refreshing acid, medium plus tannins but works with food. Would be interesting to see in a couple years but quite nice now. — 3 months ago

Another solid vintage of this Umbrian classic. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe black berry/cherry/currant fruit, rose petals, mushrooms, wet soil and asphalt. The palate shows the same intense black fruits with hints of baking spices, black licorice and tar. Long and lingering finish. Big and chewy tannins (quite grippy) and a very thick texture. This one needs some aeration. Not for the faint of heart. — 25 days ago
