Really enjoyed this one, very well balanced acidity gave it some snap that did remind me of a sancerre. — 2 days ago
Starts off simply, but ends more complex- I enjoy the aftertaste more than the initial sip. A pleasant surprise! — 9 days ago
Star bright deep(!) gold. Shy but inviting nose minerally green apple. On the palate, green apple, lime rind, flinty minerals, dried white flowers. Laser focused, firm acidity that belies the barrel roots (presaged by the color). Was initially put off by the color, but some research revealed that it’s 70% barbell fermented, which accounts for things. A dry Riesling for autumnal fare. Casseroles, roasted poultry or pork, or root vegetables will find a friend here. Drink now through 2028. — 18 days ago
A lot of texture, sweeter than our usual. Fruity, reminds of bitter marmalade, a favorite of mine. — 3 days ago
Very Mosel in style. Nose has pristine apple with a hint of barely ripe peach. Nice slatey minerality underneath. So pure smelling. Crisp and so balanced in the mouth, with fruit and cracked stones in equipoise. Dry and clean as a whistle on the finish. Nicely done. — 19 days ago
