Opened this 1999 vintage Aug 16, 2020 and decanted 1h. Probably the timing was right as the color was red with hint of “brown.” Long legs but not heavy and was earthy with dark cherry and bit of chocolate. Tannins low and taste smooth. Wonderful with rib eye medium rare to rare and grilled mushrooms. If you have it, drink now! My only bottle. — 4 years ago

Somewhat flat, nice finish, quite wet. Notes of peach and malt are clear. A winter beer more on the mild fruity side with a spot of maple syrup. Overall not sweet, though — 7 years ago
