Dollar for dollar we like this a lot as an everyday affordable wine. In WA we find it for $7-ish when Safeway has their WA wine promo month, but even at $9 it is good value. — 9 years ago
Saw at Costco for $8 & read Del. reviews liking it. I don't get it. Both my wife & I found it hot and sharp. Harsh nose and a particularly briney finish. Maybe we just got an off bottle, but it was lousy. — 9 years ago
I'm surprised elders in Bordeaux let this leave the region with the Bordeaux label on it. No varietal characteristics I could divine, and boring as well. — 9 years ago
NYC mark ups amaze me but this seems lovely here on the upper east side sitting at a window table. A bit fruity maybe, but quite nice, and a nice complement to our meal. — 9 years ago
This wine got rated a well deserved 90 by wine Spectator. It's a great value at $11 or less. Seems lush and balanced complementing my lasagna today at lunch. — 9 years ago

I generally like BG offerings but this didn't particularly appeal. I've come to like the acidy finish of S. Blancs but this had none. Some wines seem better paired with food, but this was still on the boring side with chicken, potato salad, and baked beans. Hardly fare most whites couldn't comfortably complement. — 8 years ago
