This is something dark and wonderful right here. Deep garnet color and complex cherry leatheriness with balanced everything. I would absolutely buy this again. — a month ago
Dry red blend. First taste was not the best but it started to grow on me halfway into the glass. I changed my rating twice. After the bottle was gone, I was a believer. Never write a wine off after the first sip. — 4 months ago
Sometimes you roll the dice, buying a cheap wine and are pleasantly surprised... This is not one of those times. 😑 — 5 months ago
It's "alright". I wouldn't point and make fun of it but I also wouldn't introduce it to anyone. It's a little bland and uninspiring. — 13 days ago
Dry as the Sahara and straightforward. Not a whole lot to contemplate here but it's ok I suppose. — a month ago
Not really a "purist" wine but who cares?... Those guys are a bunch of Jackwagons. It's best to not think of this as a wine and more as a delightful hybrid alcoholic beverage. It is really obvious that the bourbon barrels are heavily influencing the flavor here and that is right up my alley. I wouldn't want every wine to be like that but what this one does, it does well. It's really in a completely different category than a straight-up Zin and should be judged accordingly. — 3 months ago
I don't drink a lot of Cabs but this was perfectly fine paired with petit sirloin. Leggy and medium-bodied with a balanced profile. A bit one dimensional but drank well on its own even with no food accompaniment. — 16 days ago
I was expecting dry and that's not what I got.
I think if I was to choose a baseline wine, the quality of which all others would be judged for better or worse, it would be this one. It's really middle of the road and not too flashy. It's the Toyota Camry of wines. I would totally buy it again but then I drive a Camry, so... — 3 months ago
Nice little cabby cab. Leaning towards the sweet side with not much complexity but honestly, this is exactly what I was looking for at this particular moment in time. Did not benefit from aeration but that's ok, it was pretty enjoyable in the first place. — 4 months ago

I was expecting more but this wine is a study in mediocrity. There are many better options out there. — 5 days ago
