Drinking the 2012 vintage Nov 2016 with a baked potato and medium rare beef tenderloin and great company. Celebrating the holidays so reached for the expensive row on the rack. outstanding vintage, expensive yes, but wonderful balance of fruit with just enough tannin to keep it fresh and balanced . I am tasting with a family of noted wine snobs who are enjoying it immensely. Paired outstandingly with the beef tenderloin. Bottle gone too fast. I reordered a case of this a few months ago when we had friends over who begged for more. The finish on this was very smooth and pleasant. It only got better on the second glass. We drank it fresh and didn't decant---and didn't need to! — 8 years ago
