Almost creamy-tasting, for a white wine, anyway. Probably would be good with a substantial pasta dish. — 3 years ago
My first bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo that wasn't by Zaccagnini, this wine was too much of a mediocre thing by comparison. — a year ago
Kicked off 2014 with this, which we got from Eli Zabar (80th @ 3rd Ave). Exactly what we wanted: a bit sweet, nice bubbles and not much dryness to it. — 3 years ago
November 06, 2004. Jesse said: "Looking at it, I thought it would taste too strongly of orange & be too sweet. However, I was pleasantly surprised - the first glass was served lightly chilled, smelled very faintly of orange, was very clean & smooth on the way down, and had a pleasant orange aftertaste.
The second glass I had 24 hours later & was well chilled. It still tasted good, but it smelled a bit stronger of alcohol & barely had an aftertaste at all.
All in all, a very good dessert wine - would definitely buy again. — 3 years ago
