We love this bright Sauvignon Blanc from Joel Gott. Lots of apple and tartness with a wonderful mineral undertone. It’s slightly young but makes a great everyday white for the table. — 7 years ago
Delicious and a great value at 12.99 at Costco. Currant and jam flavors with an underlying mineral quality. Delicate but holds up. — 8 years ago
Very acidic and bright. Apple forward with melon undertones. Kind of sparkles on the tongue. Was good with chicken and salad. Bought at Costco. — 8 years ago
Solid table Merlot (yes, I’m drinking f-ing Merlot). Black cherry and currant. Slight bite but pretty smooth. Lingers long. Good value. — 5 years ago
There’s Granny Smith in there, but maybe after baked for a few minutes. Not super tart and a bit creamy but with a grassy finish. Went well with a roasted Chicken prepared Bouchon style—the irony, I’m reading a vegan cookbook. — 7 years ago
It was hot, I was BBQing chicken smoked with Apple wood, and I wanted rosé. This did the job nicely. Not too acidic, fruity but not overly sweet. It was like $9 or something. — 8 years ago
Maybe be the best cheap TJ’s wine I’ve had. Cedar, plum, and a dry finish. Acidity is way lower than a $5.99 wine deserves to be. Winner, winner enchilada dinner! — 7 years ago
Not overly complex but delicious. Plum and jam flavors, with a hint of date. Dry finish. Went well with a lightly spicy Chamchurri and tri-tip. — 7 years ago
Nice and affordable dry Cabernet Sauvignon from Cali that--shocker--doesn't rely on oak. Blackberry and tobacco forward, though slight in nature. Hope it opens up more. Goes well with J. Tillman. — 8 years ago
