Jesus, this wine was stunning. An incredible mix of spice and fruit notes on the nose with an equally compelling and titillating palate. Decanted for 45 minutes, and enjoyed for two hours after. An incredibly well-balanced showing from a lovely vintage. This is most definitely peaking now, but could be enjoyed for another decade. One of the most expressive and beautiful California Cabernets I've ever had. — 9 years ago

Wild blackberries, licorice, and black currant. A classic, textbook California cabaret from the SC mountains. Even at 4 years old, it was surprisingly smooth after 30 minutes of decanting.
