V. Sattui: A must-stop when we are in NV. Though the picnic grounds can get a bit crowded, the artichoke cream cheese dip is delicious, as are many of their wines with the signature "water finish," as Jim and I call it. Also, this port is great! — 9 years ago

Cuvaison: Beautiful seated outdoor tastings overlooking pond and vineyards. This was the only drinkable pour but we'll probably visit again just for the views. — 9 years ago

Saviah: Good value and selection. Tasting room manager, Denise Musick, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Said to call ahead next time and she would arrange a tour and barrel tasting. Also loved this Malbec - fruity and smooth! — 9 years ago

Jamieson Ranch: Love them for a number of reasons: 1. They are the closest NV winery to my home, 2. They rock the sustainability with wines on tap, 3. This chardonnay - not too oakey/buttery like most Napa chards. Bonus: The resident mini horse who often visits the tasting room! Just love the atmosphere. — 9 years ago
