Well the bottle is empty on “opening night” so that says something. I would definitely try another vintage, the 2017 is a WE Cellar Selection. The oak on this Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon blend is perfect, adding a understated chamomile lift to the finish. It’s the mid palate that perhaps lacks intrigue, but it’s very drinkable. — 4 years ago
