Just drank this july 3rd 2020 at a social distance with the only other family we see. He belongs to duckhorns clubs he says because its from 2016 its like a 70 dollar bottle....umm I think bjs sells it for 52 but hey I can't afford any of it, over 35 bucks I start to stress sweat, he's a good friend so he opened it...anyway it drinks like almost a 85 dollar bottle....almost, Very smooth, tastes like really ripe cherries, great body but it lingers a little more than 85 and 100 dollar cabs that just dissapear on your tongue. Its definitely worth 52 for a anniversary or birthday or something. Even my wife like it, and she thinks I'm werid. Like really werid. I guess I'm werid. Do you think I'm werid? Its good wine. — 4 years ago
Whaaaat! Limited run duckhorn firewater opened by our friends for dinner. Beautiful wine, crazy smooth and finishes beautifully like it evaporates off the tongue. I only wish I was a little more sober when it was opened. — 4 years ago
Ahhhhh. I paid 10 dollars USD. It is not a bad wine by any means, it was very acidic and tart and young; waaay to young. Perhaps another 8 months to a year in French oak and another six months in bottle may change the character. But hey 10 bucks. — 4 years ago
Great nose, sweet on the onset of taste, fantastic body and then it just disappears off the palate. I don't know of cab gets better than this because I don't have the budget to try wines over 30 dollars, let alone 100. I hope I can have it again in the future but maybe if someone gifts it to me, lol. — 4 years ago
At first it seems like...ohh this wine is good. This is a good wine, of course. 15 dollars and from Chile, everyone loves chile. Alas, the next two to three times i bought this wine it turned into steak marinade. And when wine becomes steak marinade it might as well be vinegar. — 4 years ago
Ruby color, not much of an odor or distinctive notes.. Very balanced pinot, good body with a slight pinch of fruit at the end that is uplifting with minimal if any aftertaste. Side note: I actually got this 2013 vintage from a local liquor store on closeout. This place is mostly a scotch forward store near foxborough, ma. They need room and put wines on clearance. I think I walked away paying 15 for this bottle...drinks like 30 bucks. Cheers — 4 years ago

Never had rosso de montepulciano, I never knew this was a different region then montepulciano. Wife picked this up and it is very good. I got an education from a Tuscan friend about the region I will keep an eye out for rosso de montepulciano wines. — 5 years ago

2017 vintage..I paid 7 dollars a bottle. Yes its true, I cannot tell you where I get this deal. Let's just say wine distributors get overages and sell to local wine stores who are more involved with high end bourbon and scotch and keep the store more for a hobby.. but mu passion is wine so its heavenly.. Its the best 7 dollar a bottle wine in the world. The wine Very fruity but not overly sweet and would probably be agreeable to the majority of people who enjoy wine. I have bought cases of it and I'm really never disappointed. I highly recommend at the 10 dollar price point and below. — 4 years ago
