Oncle Vincent Bourgogne Chardonnay

Vidal Fleury was founded in 1781 by Joseph Vidal functioning as the oldest winery in the Rhone Valley. A blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre, dark red with aromas of black fruits and subtle floral scents. On the palate beautiful red berry fruits with cacao and spice. Soft tannins showing maturity, lingering ending with a good hold on the fruit and spice. Very nice, great to drink now.

Great example of a renowned wine maker taking village level seriously - because his name is on the label.

It was fine but for the price I feel you can get a similar tasting higher quality Chablis.

High acidity, dry, citrus, medium mouth feel, sour apple, lemon. On the nose, pineapple, mineral.

White burgundy that tastes like a Montrachet. Fantastic value.
