I always love tasting this wine. Tobacco, wilted basil, black plum, game and pepper. Round and caressing, yet still expressive of Sangiovese’s herby character. A favorite in the Antinori portfolio.

Took some time to open - velvety and more fruit forward than expected. Much prefer the 2009. Still a great reminder of a lesser known Antinori gem. Gotta love BYOB at Hillstone.

This is second time following 2010 vintage. This is also good. Oak and fruity aroma with juicy taste from black fruits. A bit spicy and vanilla flavor which is this winery's special. 1 hour, found sweetness in aroma. @5200, Tuscany-TH, 171008-180512
