Bollinger RD is and has been my favorite. So much depth of flavor and body. Beautifully integrated wood. Aromas of dried lemon peel, hazelnuts and lacquered wood. Rich and decadent

Truly a superb Champagne. So expressive, ethereal and with layered complexity. Continues to reveal additional layers as it unfurls. Majestic stuff.

Confrérie Des Chevaliers du Tastevin Sous-Commanderie d'Albany, Chapter Candidate Dinner; 22 June 2019 at Yono's, Albany, NY

(Donated bottles from one of our members, we strayed from our fully Burgundy tradition for starting the night, but in the best way possible.)

More oxygenated than I prefer on my champagne but, nonetheless well made in that style. Bruised apple & pear, some white citrus, soft chalkiness, lots of yeast & bread dough, yellow florals, good acidity and a well polished rich finish.

Thank you Christina for bringing.

Reminiscent of Sauternes, ice wine, and mild cheese on the pallet. Quite a bit of yeasty flavor. An excellent pairing with my Australian lobster tail.

This is a great champagne. Notes of apple, and less of a…dosage taste given the extra brut nature. Light and crisp, almost like Martinelli’s.
