My first of 6. Smells like a full bodied Pinot Noir. The palate is rich with a lovely fruit sweetness, cherry and plum, and again, a full bodied Pinot Noir with intensity. Ticks all the boxes. Very pale and translucent. Predominately vegetal character. Nose is dominated by funky vegetal notes. Palate packs a punch but in an understated way. Strong negroni notes - orange and some strawberry. Serious unique wine that shows how pinot expresses place better than any grape. — 4 months ago

Yum! Love these Pinot noir wines from Central Otago, New Zealand. It is amazing how they are able to maintain this vibrant acidity under these hot arid conditions during the summer. What this heat does do, however, it provides this burnt earth under note to the fresh red fruit. Grippy finish with fine grained, but very present tannins. From 2016! This wine is very well crafted and disappeared way too fast!! — 4 months ago
