Ramí Terre Siciliane Greciano Insolia

This type of Orange Wine is very popular in Copenhagen. Fermented with extended skin contact in stainless steel - not in clay amphorae for this wine. Intense fulsome palate of Medium plus intensity. Very interesting.

Skins // purity

Wow, this was really funky. Salty and a bit sour but still fresh. Some tannins from the skin contact. Touch of oxidiation on the first glass but that went away quickly.

Orange wine and Halloween

Notes of cooked tinned pear, marzipan, and overripe peach. Slight barnyard funk. Distinct underlying tannic structure.

Clove inserted into a fermented orange spill.
Notes of apricot dipped in vermont pond water.
Let it breathe baby

Richer as it warms up.

2013. Most brett influence of any of the wines I've tried tonight but not objectionable and it adds a little complexity

Delightful orange in the new year

I thought it had nice flavor but not very long. Was expecting a little more. Gabbie found nothing interesting about it.
