Every year, this wine dependably displays a terroir-soaked, old school character that I love. Nose has dark cherry, tons of crushed rocks, with spices borne on little wings of acidity ticking the nostrils. Nostrils. What a weird name. Minerally, brambly, and darkly savory in the mouth. This estate is to Grenache what Saint Joseph is to Syrah. Great value to boot.

Very drinkable today but I'd recommend leaving it in your cellar for 3-4 years.

Earthy, dark yummy fruit. Medium-length finish. Excellent with pizza carried out from stonehorse. Drank after moving all dads wine into new house.
