Tart, high acid, minerals, especially on the nose. Slight residual sugar. Oaky. Best cold. Gets astringent if it warms. Other than the heavy oak and high alcohol it drinks like a French viognier.

A little flinty and match stick on the nose at first. Needs 15 to 30 minutes to breath. Opens up to white flowers, honeysuckle, pear, and honey on the nose. Good weight and good balance on the palate.

Just not a lot going on here. Nicely acidic, but way too much oak. Short finish. Ripe pears and peaches, but everything is just overpowered by oak. Definitely would not buy again.

First viognier from down under. Surprisingly musky and minerally, with a bit of dried apricots. I could feel the alcohol (14.1abv), but a nice dry finish. Could stand up to many dishes & an easy weeknight wine
