Wednesday Wine Committee and what a fantastic line-up by John! Typical format of 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine. All tasted blind.
This was fantastic. Would love to try a newer vintage against it to see if the notes I was getting compare. Sweet Mexican vanilla on the nose, not much lemon or tropical fruits on the palate...oak was there, but almost a sandalwood weird type note. Couldn’t pin it, all I know is I loved it.

Cream, vanilla bean, peach, apple, & lemon on the nose & palate. Lovely balance of acid, fruit, & oak. Layered, complex, & long finish.

Best Chardonnay I've had this year. Mountain vineyard that shows ripeness and power and balance, harmony and elegance all in one. Get some of this! Doesn't even need food - a pure pleasure to drink
