Juicier, more fruit forward, less structured than the 2015, a bit simpler but still delicious. Easy to pop and pour - lovely Coonawarra black and red fruited mix, tannin presence that builds nicely, long finish. Black label always seems to crop up somewhere in the low $20 range, and when it does I jump .. as I did here :)

Dec 12th, 2020Acidity quite high, was expecting more tanins, but these are present but just say medium. Very pleasant to drink now. Fresh strawberry, cranberries, cedar and hints of vanilla. Could definitely age.
