Straw color with stone fruit aromas. Apple and pear flavors with citrus spice tones. Sharp and acidic not balanced well with medium finish. Inexpensive wine, their CA Chard is better. Tasting Sample.

Am not usually a fan of Chardonnay, but this one was light and buttery and very cheap - so good for a party. Better on its own, as flavor becomes more bitter when paired with fruit or other semi-sweet accompaniments.

When they say "lightly oaked" they mean it. The oak is light but it IS there. Medium body, a little buttery, some golden raisins, cooked green apples and a very slight bitter note on the back end but it's definitely not a deal breaker. Perfectly decent wine for throwing a party and need to buy a decent white for a lot of people. Great value. Good for cooking, especially deglazing. There are better Chardonnays out there but most of them are not in this price range.

Not bad for a Chardonnay, which I don't usually like. Being "Lightly Oaked" helps.

Nice! Definitely prefer the lightly oaked to their original chard. Fresh taste with a subtle apple or citrus tone.
