These guys rarely do it wrong, and this is no exception. It's drinking perfectly right now.

Woobie-esque: Soft and supple. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Smooth as can be, but the QPR could be considered a weakness.

A bit over the hill: cedar, stewed fruit , plums, and DEET. After having a 2007 vintage a couple of nights before, there's definitely a huge difference.

Beautiful, dark, plush aromas of brownie batter and macerated cherry and cinnamon/espresso dark chocolate truffle. The flavors are so rich and opulent - bordering on flabby, but not. Think the most rubenesque of women. Layers of milk chocolate, cherry, cedar, a hint of tobacco. Easy to drink alone, but very good friendly.
