Williams Selyem
Allen Vineyard Pinot Noir
In pristine condition. Beautifully faded light red color. Though most of the primary fruit is gone I suspect this was a much bigger wine in its youth and it retains a slightly sappy/ hot finish. But otherwise excellent

Apr 14th, 2018Oldest pinot I've ever had. Smells like dessert wine. No tannins.

Jan 16th, 2016The 1997 held up remarkably well. Great nose but the fruit on the palate had turned stewed & leathery in a way that I don't dig. Out of Coravin. Mighta been cool to decant instead.
