Superb. Incredible amounts of dry extract, concentrated, almost distillate-like fruit, hauntingly aromatic. Rich, creamy texture coupled with electric acidity. Long. Crazy long. Grilled pineapple and peach, candied lime, white tea, spring honey, white flowers, slate, smoke, mushroom, ginger. Perfect with pumpkin stuffed with farro, apple, and Bockwurst.

Austere in subtle way . . But such flavors !

All in balance but frankly not my cup of tea. Very rich and powerful, too much so for my taste.

Old 19th century throw-back style of dry Mosel Riesling from the finest parcels in the greater Marienburg vineyard...long fermentation along with long lees contact give this epic wine amazing concentration and complexity!

Deep rich nutty intense fruit with caramel and burnt sugar. Never had a German reisling like this

Fully mature Riesling very impressive. Could use some more acidity. Very yellow. Honey melon nose. Bitter orange curd. Some diesel. For some perhaps too unique of a flavor profile but that is how old Riesling tastes. Almost like a cocktail. 14%!!!!

Золотой цвет. Свежий, цветочный, но не слишком яркий нос, который продолжает насыщенный, полный вкус. Медоносы, цукаты, флердоранж, неспелый манго, сладкий нектарин, красный чай, при потеплении миндальная паста. За фруктовой экзотикой скрывается тонкая сланцевая минеральность. Кислотность корректная и живая, но чуть менее выраженная чем у многих других рислингов того же возраста. Тело полное, почти маслянистое; вино более горизонтальное, чем вертикальное, но с хорошим внутренним напряжением. Сахар ощутим, но не липнет и хорошо сбалансирован. Со временем при нагревании в послевкусии вылезает легкая алкогольная горчинка.

Ripping alcohol. 14%. Kinda blew all the other flavors away. Really tasty fruit under it all though...
