Seemed racy and sharp last night. Now in addition to a ripe and full acid structure you get that core of golden ripe middle Mosel fruit. It's very well balanced. There's that dusky herbal sage character, some sort of smoky tea leaves, and the flavor of pure stones on a long finish. Great texture and purity. Tightness almost suggests steel, but it's kind of softened around the edges, so I suppose I'd put my money on a stück. I really like these wines
