Pretty tawny. Love the red color and obviously Warre’s does too, i mean look at that clear bottle. Bright red with tinges of brown. Has a cough syrup vibe, but also so much more including baked cherries, nutty caramel, and a bit of raspberry. Medium finish.

The perfect pairing for thanksgiving pumpkin pie with a candied pecan streusel topping. Delish. Just he right amount of weight, gorgeous red hue, notes of cherry, raisin, and nuts. Nice stuff.

Pretty red orange color fading to a thin clear meniscus with toffee, baked red fruits, roast coffee and honey aromas. On the palate it medium-bodied and rich with baked cherry and raspberry, toffee and honey flavors. Medium long finish. Bottled in 2012. Wonderful pairing with a chocolate chip cookie!

It's Port, and it's awesome. If you could bottle up excellence in liquid form, it would be Warre's Optima 10.

Sure, it's pedestrian, but I like the nutty caramel flavor.

The nose on this tawny Port is so full of raisins and hot caramel it can mean nothing except dessert. The palate reaffirms that feeling, with a sweet taste which brings a little savory along for the ride. There’s enough acidity to make pairing possible, maybe with a slice of pumpkin or pecan pie.

Drink too much and you will be cursing the Portuguese or cursing in Portuguese, depending on how far gone you are.

This was great! It was suggested to me when I asked for a wine to pair with a chocolate cake I was making, and it was perfect

Learning about Port this year. Starting with this. Nutty on the nose. Caramel sweetness? Out of my element here.
