Dec 23rd, 2012I hate drinking this wine. Every bottle I open is one less that have stashed away. This 2008 has always been and continues to be superb. Six years down it's beginning to mellow out, the acidity is receding slightly and a lovely hint of butterscotch is settling atop the citrus-apple-pear-slate thing this wine does so well. The long, spice and mineral finish barely slows your hand reaching for the glass for more....
