This bruiser is starting to shed its babyfat. Sweet, black 'n blue berried, crushed fruit, smoke, coffee, dark chocolate, balsamic notes, exotic spice. Still has an impressive structure, but there's also a lovely acidic lift and it boasts the silkiest tannines available. Beautiful wine.

Warm and generous, this wine is very international, and therefore misses some sense of place, but extremely well-crafred. Tar, tobacco, brambly fruit. Not too sweet!
