A nice three grape blend that sees sixteen months of ageing in American (80%) and French (20%) oak. Aromas of dark fruits with smooth spice. The palate shows plum and blackberry, with vanilla spice. The finish is smooth, with some noted cacao giving way to firm tannins a little drying on a savoury finish.

Full-bodied, a touch earthy, and a very good value. #artero #lamancha #tempranillo

Dry with strong oak and lots of berry. Very nice for the price but a little sharp for my preference.

Decent red fruit, a wee touch of vanilla. A bit bright, but a good blend (yeah, only 30% Tempernillo; 27% Syrah & a whopping 43% Merlot) from the La Mancha region. A hint of pepper on the nose, with a smooth, lingering finish. A bite from Sweet Mother alcohol lets you know you're drinking a booze product.

Like 99% of wines I drink, this has been decanted for 3 hours. Medium to heavy bodied blend - sharp raspberry overtones, with cherry mint soup. The best damn Popsicle stick I have chewed on in a while.
