A little 2016 Errazuriz Max Reserva Pinot. Thought we would sample some of the Pinot from one of our upcoming visits.
One the nose; sweet spice, bright, dark cherries, cherries, pomegranate extract, very ripe strawberries, dark rich soils, cinnamon, vanilla with bright red florals.
The body is round and full. The palate is very ripe, almost candied. Fruits are, ripe, bright. Dark cherries, cherry Jolly Ranchers, very ripe strawberries, pomegranate extract with just a touch of blueberries haunting here & there. Sweet spice, dark rich soils, light vanilla, cinnamon, lightly understated limestone minerals and bright red florals for days. Acidity is like a waterfall. The finish is ripe, fruit forward and well polished.

The nose is bright with ripe red fruits- cranberries, cherries, strawberries. The mouth is tart and slightly dry with medium to medium + acidity. I’m pairing this Pinot noir with local royal reds (🍤) and FL grouper in a simple butter l, garlic, herb sauce:
