Another simple European Pinot (in this case Pfalz in Germany). Straight forward diluted sappy strawberry flavours with no complexity and no signs of improvement if cellared. Pinots in Australia at this price point would run rings around this - think Bass Phillip Crown Prince.

Very restrained nose. Then it opens with sour cherries, some dark hints. Lacking finesse, but good for the money

Med. Ruby; nose of strawberry, blueberry w/ subtle spice and violets; supple and lively ripe berry fruits on palate with nice spice and tea notes in a lingering finish. Any domestic pinots at this price ($13) are flabby and overdone or thin, but this German PN is lively and delicious! A case purchase!
