A new one (I think) from Cris Cherry at Villa Creek, it’s listed on the bottle as just “red wine” (which is accurate: it is a red wine), this is a grenache/mourvedre blend. Very approachable for its youth, it doesn’t have the depth or complexity of some of his higher-end cuvees (High Road typically being my favorite), but this is still excellent.
