Solid wine. Certainly shows the pedigree of the vineyard. GSM fully charged.

A little tight. Needs some time to open up but hits its stride a couple hours in.

Dark and rich, close to peppery cough syrup to start. With some air more nuanced if a little hot on finish.

A GSM blend (40/40/20), this is terrific. The nose is very much driven by the grenache, with bright red-blue fruits and some nice acidity on the front palate. With more time in the glass, deeper undertones of blackberry started to come through. The wine is balanced with a beautiful, long finish. My guess is that this needs another couple of years in bottle to really sing...but it's awefully good now. Another winner from Cris!
