Vintage 2018 | I am learned to be careful with wines and winelabels that pretend to be better than they actually are. This wine shows itself with a lot of qualifications: grand vin, vintage, cuvée prestige, Porte le nr, édition limitée. And I think there is nothing wrong with an honest Pays d’Oc. On the contrary. So I was not surprised to smell a nice spicyness, cedar, and to taste a comforting wine with a nice sweet in the aftertaste. The wine is over oaked in my opinion, still lovely to taste. Present of my brother in law. Paired with Lion’s Head Meatballs and rice. | Wednesday Meatballsday (17) a good effort that does not need to do posh
