Dark garnet purple. Blackberry and black patent leather on the nose adding black cranberry on the full-bodied palate. Medium juicy acidity. Faint hint of tannins toward the back palate and finish. Nice enough introduction to Barossa Valley Shiraz, though a bit on the light side (that’s kind of Yalumba’s style at this price point). Great accompaniment for burgers and cookout fare. Drink now.
