Light spice. Dark cherries, cherries, plum, a touch of blueberries and fresh red floral bouquet. On the palate, lean bodied fruits of; dark cherries, cherries, plum, strawberries, more intense spice, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, powder of crushed dry rocks, black cherry licorice/cola, decent chalk & acidity with a lean red floral, spicy finish.

Really enticing nose... Oaky palate. Not bad, I just wish the oak was a bit more restrained.

A bit dilute compared with other vintages. Great aromas, finesse on the entry, but a tad thin in the mid palate. Finishes bright with a little burn.

More spice and less full fruit character than Central/Gibbston expression.. nose says plum but palate is dominated by Sour cherry giving freshness. Tasted back to back with the Etna, this lost bigtime.

Prefer the 21014 Gibbston Vineyard, but still very good.

Surprisingly earthy with lots of vegetal flavors under the red fruit. Could be great in a few years.
