Eucalyptus bomb. Like Heitz Martha’s Vineyard, early Turnbull wines were known for the character imparted by neighboring eucalyptus groves. I’ve never come across a wine where it was as apparent as with this one. Perhaps with age the eucalyptus sticks around as the fruit fades. Enjoyable experience all the same.

Beautiful balance and richly spiced fruit with a great nose and full palate and moderately long finish. Subtle mint and eucalyptus as trademarks of this beautifully made wine. A great food wine.
